The BMW 2002 is the forerunner to the 3 Series and was the car that virtually put BMW "On The Map" as a builder of quality, performance motor cars.  The BMW would, forever after, be representative of the higher end of the market.  The car came in a base 2002, a ti and a tii version.  This car is a beautiful example of the base 2002 with the 2 liter 108 HP motor.

We truly believe this car is worth significantly more than the others you might find posted because:

• It is not an older restoration (only two years out of restoration).
• The interior is magnificent compared to any 2002 we have seen.
• The seats are original BMW Recaro  (covered in matching interiorcloth/vinyl)
• Engine has the lowest miles of any BMW 2002 on the market.
• Zero rust – these cars are notorious for having rust in the strut mounts, the interior trunk and the spare tire well in the truck.

The car has been well looked after over the years and has had a lot of work done to keep it in the condition that you see it in now.  The body has been refurbished and painted and many if not all of the chrome packages and moldings have been replaced.  There is no rust on this car; none on the front shock strut mounts, nor the trunk - both of which were often a problem on the 2002.

The car had a new engine (not rebuilt, a replacement engine from BMW direct) installed at 87,875 miles along with a tii exhaust manifold.  The current engine has just over 9,000 miles on it.

The upholstery  and carpeting was completely replaced in 2009 and as part of that work, the front seats were replaced and upgraded with BMW Recaro's.  The car has an upgraded stereo system that provides the owner with an integrated iPod connection.
