This is an all original 1976 Triumph TR6 with only 18,500 miles on the odometer.  The car is finished in Tahiti Blue with a complementary black vinyl interior and is in exceptional condition.

Here is your chance to own a truly original TR6.  This car was driven a total of 18,500 miles from 1976 through 1995.  At that time, the car was then stored in a climate controlled environment until sold last year.  The current owner went through a painstaking analysis of the car after purchase and carefully "woke up" the motor which runs really strong and has lots of pull and pep.  There were however a number of things that were repaired or replaced before that happened.  A new gas tank was installed (old one is available); new calipers and pads on the front and new wheel cylinders on the rear; All hydraulic hoses were replaced; replaced the majority of the brake lines; starter motor replaced; fuel pump replaced; clutch cylinders - both master and slave - replaced along with all hydraulics;

The car has the original top, is about 80% original paint and we have the original manual.  The car still has the original glass and all parts that were replaced are being made available with the car. 

There are three issues to point out.  One is a small tear in the roof on the passenger side and was caused by being pinched in the top's metal bracket at some point.  Secondly there are two rust areas that are very small that could use attention.  These are on each of the rear fenders.  Photographs of these and the tear in the top are posted in this listing and I am happy to give you access to the raw photo's if you provide an email address.  You will note from the photos also that there is no evidence of rust in the trunk or on the rear quarters where trouble usually hides.

The current owner bought the car as a project in 2010 and is ready to move on to the next.  He wanted to keep this car as original as possible altering only those items that needed to be repaired or replaced.  This is a great low-mileage British classic that will bring years of driving pleasure and can be immediately driven anywhere you desire without concern.
