Vehicle Description

This is a 1961 Buick Electra 225 with 140,000 miles on the odometer.  The car is White with a complementary Red & Gray Interior and both inside and outside, she is in very nice condition.

The original 401 Nailhead engine is coupled to a 2 speed transmission which slips a little in Drive.  The car comes with power steering, power brakes, power windows and a power front bench seat.  The window operation is a little slow but they all work and although the seat motors are operational there is an issue with the mechanism that moves the seat itself; it could be off the track.

The interior has been redone tastefully  in a gray and red cloth, and the headliner is red and is tight needing no adjustment. All four doors open and close easily and there is no drooping nor do they stick. It has aftermarket rims which can easily be swapped out for steel wheels if desired but these give the car a subtle look of a street rod.

There are a couple of minor rust issues on the car (see pictures) just some minor bubbling in the usual locations, around the rear window and just above the rockers on the rear door panels. The frame is solid and the body is straight and the rockers are solid. The trunk has some minor surface rust, if taken care of soon it will not be an issue.

The paint is a re-spray and is not perfect but it is quite acceptable. The bumpers have been powder coated white and probably won't be chipping or peeling anytime soon.
