The car is finished in shimmering Pearlescent Silver paint, and has a beautiful, complementary grey mohair cloth interior. Overall this car is in exceptional condition and a solid #2 classic. This is probably the finest example in the USA of a 1947 Custom Dodge (4 door sedan w/ suicide door configuration). She is powered by her original 230 CID in line 6 cylinder flathead which has been rebuilt; this is mated to a Fluid Drive 3 speed automatic transmission – also rebuilt. This Custom model has the original wood trim on the doors and chrome accents on the dash as well as the rare Tropic-Aire heater – intact and operational. Also notable is the period windshield visor as well as working front and rear wind wings (vent windows). All lights and added turn signals are fully functional and she rides on Coker wide whitewall tires mounted on the original steel rims with Dodge hubcaps and stainless beauty rings.

This Dodge runs and drives effortlessly – most everything top to bottom is restored and rebuilt to the finest level - suicide doors, glass, excellent chrome and stainless trim, beautiful interior with new weatherstripping. This was a limited production car with only 3,698 produced in total - you must see to believe the condition of the car.
