The car is finished in its original Guards Red and is complemented by a brand new Black interior. this car is in nice condition and runs and drives well. This 1978 Porsche 928 Coupe was taken off the road about 20 years ago and has been stored in a climate controlled garage since. It was pulled out earlier this year and the interior was refurbished (not yet completed) with new carpets, new seat covers and we have a Porsche Sport steering wheel not yet installed (although it may be by the time the car is sold). The dashboard has the typical warps and cracks you find in a 928 but we have acquired a complete dashboard skin that comes with the car and will make it look like new when installed.We also have three new wheels, the pictures of which are included - a fourth needs to be found and purchased to make a spectacular change to the exterior appearance of the car. Before running the car as a driver, she was taken to Stuttgart Northeast in Danvers MA - a well known Porsche specialist - where the car was gone over and $2,600 in minor repairs and replacement parts were installed and tested. The car runs, drives and stops as you would expect and this luxury German Grand Tourer is ready for the road. This car has a manual 5-Speed transmission and the clutch is operating perfectly; all in all, she has some aesthetic work to complete but represents a fun, light project for its new owner.
