1966 Buick Riviera

What we have here is a 1966 Buick Riviera project car with 29,195 miles on the odometer turned over no doubt. The car is painted Riviera Red Iridescent complemented by a Black vinyl interior some damage to the passenger seat cover all other seats are in good shape. Overall, this car is rust free and solid its been stored indoors and is perfect for a restoration.

This 1966 Buick Riviera is equipped with the 401ci V8 "Nail Head" motor that does run, the carburetor needs to be cleaned. The motor still has its original cast aluminum valve covers and factory air conditioning. The transmission is a console shifted automatic and has the original light weight aluminum front brake drums a unique feature for the Buick Riviera. Pictures show car with original tires which are to be replaced prior to pickup.

I drove the same model car to Quebec City in 1972 and it was a great car. This needs work but the work will be worth the result! It is a great project and a great way to remember when American cars were just the best! (My opinion!).
