Here we have a truly stunning 1964 Porsche 356C finished in a perfect Signal Red which is complemented by an excellent Black Vinyl interior (small scratch on the driver seat). This 1964 Porsche 356C was completely restored a little over 3 years ago and the odometer which was at approximately 44,000 was reset to zero. Overall this car is a true investment grade collector car and these days, collector cars are remarkably good investments!

In 1964, Porsche introduced the last of the 356 series with the 356C. Due to there having been many iterations of the car in earlier years, this model was a highly developed and sophisticated automobile. Some of the exterior features were an outside fuel filler cap and the rear twin grilles over the engine compartment, they also incorporated many of the design characteristics early Porsche buyers expected at the time. Problems in design and manufacturing had many years to be identified and rectified which is why the 356C was such a solid car.

The Porsche flat four was strong and reliable and it handled very well due to suspension improvements. Four wheel disc brakes were standard as was the ZF transmissions. The car also had an improved high output engine with stronger internal components; faster car, more reliability. Many innovations developed by the race team found their way into the 356C but the production cars stayed true to the promise to satisfy even the most discerning customer, and they exceeded that goal.

The C version of the 356 represents not only the last, but the best of the line.
