What we have here is a 1966 Pontiac GTO Convertible Restoration Project. Someone has started to replace required components; it has a new gas tank and fuel pump as well as fuel lines. The engine rebuild and teardown was started as the pistons and connecting rods - which are in good condition - are out of the engine. This car needs a complete makeover body, top, mechanical, brakes and everything; however, overall, this car is a restoration project that will make a great starting point for its new owner. We believe that the engine is a service replacement block and that the transmission is a turbo 400 from a 1971.

The owner of this car has taken on one too many projects and just does not have the time to finish this car. The 1966 Pontiac GTO convertible is a very desirable muscle car and we have priced her to provide you the best deal on a car of this caliber.
